Habitat loss
Amur tigers need huge forests to live, hunt, and raise their cubs. When people cut down these trees for wood, farms, or new buildings, the tigers lose their homes and can't find enough food or safe places to live.
Being done about itScientists and park rangers are working hard to protect the remaining tiger forests and even plant new trees to grow their homes bigger. They also create special safe paths, called corridors, so tigers can travel between different forest areas safely.
