Habitat loss
Amur leopards are losing their homes because people are cutting down their beautiful forests to build farms, towns, or to get wood. This means there's less space for them to find food, hunt, and raise their cubs safely.
Being done about itScientists and conservationists are working hard to protect the remaining Amur leopard forests, making sure they aren't cut down, and even planting new trees. They are also creating big, safe areas called national parks where leopards can live undisturbed.
