Climate change
Climate change is making the ocean warmer, which means there's less of the tiny, shrimp-like food called krill that blue whales need to eat. Without enough krill, it's very hard for these giant whales to find enough food to survive and grow.
Being done about itScientists are carefully studying ocean changes and teaching us how to protect krill's homes, while many people are trying to use less energy and choose cleaner ways to power our homes and cars to slow down warming.
